Spanning 40 hectares, Skypark is a new generation of high quality business park, combining industrial, office and distribution space that will create up to 6,500 new jobs when complete.
Close to the M5 and Exeter Airport, existing businesses on the site include Stovax, DPD and LiveWest.
A simplified planning scheme in the form of a Local Development Order is being prepared for Skypark, benefitting future occupiers.
The Stovax Heating Group has relocated to a 200,000 sq ft purpose-built premises at Skypark, incorporating new offices and state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. Having outgrown their 10 previous sites, the new facility allows continued investment in research and development and offers scope for improvements to logistics, communications and productivity. The building has been designed to the BREEAM excellent standard, putting the facility in the top 10% of UK non-domestic buildings in terms of sustainability performance. ONYX Business Parks (previously Burrington Estates) have delivered 35 light industrial units to the BREEAM excellent standard, with Solar PV and EV charging.
