80,000 Sq. M

Power Park is an 8 hectare development site which benefits from simplified planning in the form of a Local Development Order.  Under the Order the site has permitted development rights for up to 26,000 sqm of employment space.

For more information about the LDO please visit East Devon District Council about LDO.

Situated adjacent to Exeter Airport, Power Park is ideally suited to aviation-related businesses.

Exeter College’s Future Skills Centre is opposite the site, providing excellent opportunities for training and skills development.

Exeter Airport Business Park is located to the southeast of Power Park and provides a well-established mix of office, workshop and storage space.

Infrastructure investment

£4.5m has been invested into Long Lane to enable improved access and a direct bus linking to nearby towns and the city of Exeter.

The site is owned by Oxenwood, an established logistics and industrial developer and investor in the UK and Germany.

Claire Haddon Head of Asset Management at Oxenwood, said: “We are looking forward to using the LDO to provide a scheme that is needed in the Exeter industrial market. The site will provide modern and sustainable units, varying in size and offering flexibility to a wide pool of tenants.”

Occupiers locate in the Exeter and East Devon Enterprise Zone because accessibility is easy for both distribution of products and also for labour supply due to the myriad of transport systems. We often speak to businesses looking to relocate to this area and it’s an easy sell. Whether it’s enjoying beaches at Exmouth, exploring Dartmoor or the river valleys, the quality of life here is very good. It goes hand in hand with the commercial offer of the area. The way the sites have been designed encourages clustering, for example: Science Park for research, development and STEMM businesses; Skypark for high quality and clean growth manufacturing and offices.

Exeter College is award winning and Ofsted have identified our apprenticeship provision and our work with employers as outstanding.  We are increasingly seeing businesses investing in training. Particularly businesses looking to the future will sit down with us and co-design training so it meets their evolving needs – both for today and for tomorrow.
